For the one-year gallery anniversary on May 25, the gallery flash shows painting and installation of international standing

The emerging British artists Nick Gentry and George Morton-Clark give the anniversary exhibition an urban London style. Nick Gentry is now one of the hottest young artists Britain has to offer at the moment. His unique portraits on used floppy disks have become his trademark.

By contrast, the works of George Morton-Clark from South London are an examination of today's social norms, he combines elements of graffiti with oil painting.

The new large-format abstractions in oil by Munich artist Saskia Porkay are impressive and expressive. Her unmistakably unusual colour compositions draw positive energy.

The abstract architecture of Chile-born Alejandro Soto gives us a touch of his homeland. “Relic” is the title of the installation by the Dutch sculptor Wouter Mijland. Here he uses a jerrycan, perforated like a sieve, stuffed with small plastic toys, as a symbol of the senselessness of oil consumption.
